FIRST FEW WEEKS OF HELP DESK

My early experiences with help desk

In my first few weeks with help desk we have used many different types of technology. We have covered drones, coding, Sonic Pi, a game called DropMix, and we have talked about the new IOS 13 update.

Drones: To start, we flew drones in the library and outside. When flying the drones outside, we took videos and pictures through the drone cameras. There were many different ways to control the drones. Apps, controllers, and motion sensing are all different ways we controlled the drones. Coding:  We looked at different examples of coding through the website https://processing.org. Also we played different types of games on https://processing.org as well. Another day we played a game called DropMix and the game uses coded cards to play music. For more info on DropMix here is a link to their website https://dropmix.hasbro.com/en-us. In addition, we looked at a coding program called Sonic Pi. Sonic Pi uses coding to make music and we were able to make all types of music using the Sonic Pi. IOS: We learned how to help people who are having trouble with their iPads or their chrome books. We talked about different IOS updates, MacBook features, and useful apps. Also we looked at different apple store games and compared them to the older games we used to play on our iphones.

Extra: During the past couple days we have been working with 3D pens. The 3D pen we used was called the 3Doodler. For more info on the 3Doodler here is their site https://the3doodler.com. Also we used the google glasses which have similar features to the iPhone. My experiences with help desk so far have been very good and I am excited for the future in this class.
